Introduction
In November of 2016, Austin and Danielle came up with the idea for the series.
After a few days of casting, 61 players joined the inaugural season, all battling to become the first champion of the series. It was a special season that people took very seriously. Ultimately, Sam McCanada won the first edition of the series.
After the success of the first season, Worst Game Ever was renewed for another season in April of 2017. This time, casting teams of 'alumni' from specific series, along with an alumni team from Season 1. The cast grew ever larger than before, to a total of 77 players! Christen Williams ultimately made her way to the top and took home the crown for Season 2, The Alumni Battle.
In July of 2017, a secret season was filmed. Eight previous players were invited back to compete in a 2-week pressure cooker elimination style season. They were whisked off into Space and forced to compete against each other to win Season 3. Jake Round came out on top, beating out 7 other returnees. The season was condensed into five episodes and aired for Facebook and Youtube to see.
After the buzz wore off from Season 3, a new season was on the horizon. This time, 20 new players were flown to a remote island in the middle of no-mans-land. They were deserted and left to fend for themselves in a survivor inspired season. The teams were divided based on gender lines. Holli Rutkowski eventually went on to be the fourth winner of the series.
In 2018 a new season kicked off the year with 50 players participating in "Arctic Antics." Players signed up with teams of 5. The season started with 17 returnees and 33 newbies battling to become the fifth champ of the series. Andrew Rew eventually became the winner in an 8-5-4 final vote.
In April of 2018, a second secret season was filmed. Nine players were invited to compete in an 11-day battle to be the last pirate standing. They took to the seven seas on the Worst Game Ever ship and one by one were forced to walk the plank. Adam Hassan became the captain, outlasting all other 8 pirates and winning the title in a 6-1 vote. The season was condensed into five episodes and aired for Facebook and Youtube to see.
